🥅 Keeper Clash: Quick Game Rules Overview

📏 Field Play:

• Fields range from 18 to 26 yards long and 10 to 14 yards wide.
• Goal sizes vary by age group, ensuring a fair play for all.

🎂 Age Groups:

• Organized by birth year
• From under 10s to U18, everyone has a spot! 

⚽ Ball Rules:

• One ball on the field to keep the game fast and fair.
• Different ball sizes for various age groups to handle easily.

🕒 Game Time:

• Matches are short and sweet: 2 halves of 4 minutes each, with a 2-minute halftime.
• Keeps everyone on their toes and the games exciting!

👟 Gear Up:

• Goalkeeping gloves and cleats are recommended for grip and save performance but not required.
• Shin guards are not necessary as there is no contact with others in this event.

🏆 Scoring and Winning:

• Points are awarded for wins.
• Tiebreakers? We've got clear rules from head-to-head results to goal differentials.
• No ties here: matches concluding in draws go to exciting overtimes and penalty kicks!

🚀 Kick-Offs:

• A fun "rock, paper, scissors" game decides who starts with the ball.

🛑 Play Stoppages:

• Play pauses only for safety, injuries, or if too many balls land on the field.

The Falcons United Keeper Clash is a high-energy competition built exclusively for goalkeepers. Players face off in head-to-head duels where they alternate shooting and saving, testing their reflexes, reactions, distribution, and shot-stopping ability.

2. Who can participate?

The event is open to goalkeepers from u10 - u18. Players will be grouped by birth year to keep the competition fair.

3. Are spots limited?

Yes. 🚨 Keeper Clash has limited space to ensure everyone gets plenty of reps and opportunities to compete. Registration is first-come, first-served. There are 8 spots available in each division.

4. What should players bring?

• Goalkeeper gloves
• Cleats & shin guards
• Water bottle
• Soccer Ball
• Weather-appropriate layers

5. How does the competition work?

Keepers are placed into matchups and compete in short games where they alternate shooting and saving. Points are awarded for goals scored. Winners advance.

6. Who will be running the event?

The event will be led by Falcons United’s licensed coaching staff, who will oversee matchups, keep score, and ensure a safe and fun environment.
