SKILL Gauntlet:

True ballers will love the opportunity to compete to be "TOP BALLER" in 4 events: 

1. Juggling 
2. Passing 
3. Dribbling
4. Shooting

Lace up your boots, bring your skills, and show us what you've got! 

Juggling: 1 point for every 10 juggles in a row, Earn up to 5 (50 juggles) total points.

• Player has 2 attempts to get as many juggles as possible
• Can use any part of the body except the hands and arms 

Passing: 1 point for each ball knocked off a cone, Earn up to 5 total points

• Pass to knock a ball off a cone
• 2 passes from each spot (5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 yards) 

Dribbling: Earn points for the top Five Times, 1st = 5 points, 2nd = 4 points, 3rd = 3 points, 4th = 2 points, 5th = 1 point 

• Players dribbling through slalom poles and / or cones 
• Player dribble through the obstacle course to see who can complete it as quickly as possible.

Shooting: 1 point for each ball that hits the cross bar, Earn up to 5 total points

• From or behind the 18 yard box players get five chances to hit the cross bar.
• Each player gets two chances (5 balls each time) to earn the most points. 

1. What is the Skills Gauntlet?

The Falcons United Skills Gauntlet is a fun, competitive event where players rotate through challenges in juggling, passing, dribbling, and shooting. Each challenge is scored or timed to give players measurable feedback on their performance.

2. Who can participate?

The event is open to players of all skill levels. Participants will be grouped by age for fairness and fun.

3. When and where does it take place?

📍 Location: Western Park, Cedar Point

📅 Date: 12/19

⏰ Time: 5:00pm - 8:00pm

4. How much does it cost?

💥 FREE! Falcons United offers this program at no cost as part of our mission to remove pay-to-play barriers.

5. Are spots limited?

Yes. 🚨 To ensure quality and plenty of reps, spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

6. What should players bring?

• Cleats & shin guards
• Water bottle
• Soccer Ball
• A competitive spirit!

7. How does the competition work?

Players rotate through skill stations. Each station is scored (points or time). Players earn points for their performances, with top scorers highlighted at the end.

8. Who will be running the event?

The event will be led by Falcons United’s licensed coaching staff, ensuring a safe, supportive, and developmental environment.
