🎮 The Falcons United eSoar Cup is where the digital pitch meets the real Falcons community! Players from across the county will battle it out in EA Sports FC 26 for bragging rights, and the chance to be crowned the Falcons eSoar Champion.

The tournament kicks off with a group stage, where each competitor faces off in round-robin play. The top performers advance to the single-elimination knockout rounds until a champion is determined.

Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just love the thrill of competition, the eSoar Cup is a fun way to connect with teammates, friends, and fellow Falcons fans off the field.

1. General Information

• Game: EA Sports FC 26
• Platform: PlayStation 5, and X Box
• Date/Time: November 11th, starting at 9:00am -1:00pm
• Venue: Swansboro Methodist Church - Fellowship Hall
• Format: 12 players → Group Stage → Knockout Rounds

2. Player Eligibility

• Open to ages u12 - u17.
• Registration is first-come, first-served, capped at 12 players.

Players must check in 15 minutes before kickoff.

3. Equipment

• Consoles will be provided at the event.
• Standard controllers provided; players may bring their consoles and controllers
• No modded controllers allowed.

4. Match Format

Group Stage:

• Groups of 3 players, round robin (each plays 3 matches).
• Win = 3 points | Draw = 1 point | Loss = 0 points.
• Top 2 players from each group advance to knockout stage

Knockout Stage:

• Single elimination bracket.
• Matches tied after regulation → extra time → penalty shootout.

5. Match Settings

• Half Length: 4 minutes
• Difficulty: Semi-Pro
• Game Speed: Normal
• Injuries: On
• Offsides: On
• Bookings: On
• Weather: Clear
• Teams Allowed: Any club team available in EA Sports FC 26 (no custom teams)
• 1 TV for every 4 players signed up. 1 Console for every 4 players

6. Gameplay Rules

• Pausing only allowed when the ball is out of play. Excessive or disruptive pausing may result in a warning or forfeit.
• Disconnects: If connection is lost in the first half, the match will be restarted. If in the second half, the score and time will be restored as closely as possible.
• Cheating, glitching, or unsportsmanlike behavior = immediate disqualification.

7. Tie-Breakers in Group Stage

If players are tied on points, advancement will be determined by:

1. Head-to-Head Result
2. Goal Differential
3. Goals Scored
4. Coin Toss (by Tournament Director)

8. Conduct & Sportsmanship

• All participants must show respect to opponents, and staff.
• Use of abusive language, harassment, or cheating is grounds for immediate removal.
• Falcons United reserves the right to remove any player for violating community standards.

9. Prizes

• Champion: Falcons eSoar Cup Medal
• Runner Up: Exclusive EA Sports Scarf

10. Authority

• All disputes will be resolved by the Tournament Director.
• Decisions are final.

1. Who can participate?

Anyone ages u12 - u17 can register. You don’t have to be a Falcons United player — the eSoar Cup is open to the entire community.

2. What game system will be used?

All matches will be played on PlayStation 5 - Controllers will be provided, but players may bring their own if preferred.

3. How is the tournament structured?

• Group Stage: 32 players split into groups of 4. Each player plays everyone in their group.
• Knockout Rounds: The top players from each group advance into a single-elimination bracket until a champion is crowned.

4. Is there a cost to enter?

The Falcons United eSoar Cup is part of our community-first mission. Entry is free thanks to our sponsors, but donations are welcome to support Falcons United’s free-to-play soccer programs.

5. Will food or drinks be available?

Yes! Snacks and drinks will be provided for all players throughout the event. Spectators are welcome to bring their own.

6. Can friends and family watch?

Absolutely. Spectators are encouraged to come cheer, hang out, and enjoy the event. Depending on the venue setup, games may be displayed on a big screen for fans to follow the action.

7. What do I need to bring?

Just bring yourself — controllers will be provided. If you prefer your own controller you may bring it.

8. Why does Falcons United host an esports tournament?

Because Falcons United is about more than soccer — it’s about community, connection, and fun. The eSoar Cup gives players another way to compete, build friendships, and represent the Falcons family, even off the field.
