Falcons United Rec League is a community based, donation-supported soccer program focused on fun, and development. Open to players of all skill levels, the league offers a welcoming environment where kids can learn, grow, and play the beautiful game without financial barriers.
We will be all in house which means you will play other Falcons United teams.
- Falcons United Rec League is the official foundational program of Falcons United, it is designed for players from u4 - u18 of all experience levels. This fun, high-energy program focuses on developing technical skills, confidence, and teamwork. Whether it’s your child’s first kick or they’re aiming to soar higher, Falcons United Rec League provides the perfect runway for their soccer journey.

- Registration Ends: Aug 2nd
- Coach Contact: Coaches will begin reaching out to their teams starting Aug 16th
- Practice Kickoff: Practices begin the week of Aug 24th
- Game Day Begins: Our first weekend of games is September 12th

Where
All Practices and Games will be at Western Park in Cedar Point, NC
There may be options to travel for some games for u12 / u15 / u18 divisions (Swansboro, Jacksonville, New Bern)
Practices
Practices will be one night a week for all age groups:
Thursdays: u4 / u6 / u8
u4: 5:00pm - 5:20pm (Game 5:20-5:40)
u6: 5:45pm - 6:30pm
u8: 6:45pm - 7:45pm
Thursdays: u10 / u12
Time Slot #1 - 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Time Slot #2 - 6:45pm - 8:15pm
Thursdays: u15 / u18
7:30pm - 9:00pm
Games
Games will take place on Saturdays.
u4 = 4v4, No Keeper (Games On Thursday After Practice)
u6 = 4v4, No Keeper
u8 = 4v4, No Keeper
u10 = 7v7 includes keeper
u12 = 7v7 includes keeper
u15 = 7v7 includes keeper
u18 = 7v7 includes keeper
Game Times will vary between 8:00am - 3:00pm on Saturdays during the season.

UNIFORM
Falcons United will provide Jerseys, or T-Shirts or Pinnies for games.
You are responsible for the following:
- Shorts
- Socks
- Shin Guards
- Cleats.
- Soccer Ball
Please make sure players have the appropriate size soccer ball
u4 / u6 / u8 = Size 3 Soccer Ball
u10 / u12 = Size 4 Soccer Ball
u15 / u18 = Size 5 Soccer Ball

4. Who can participate in the league?
Our Rec League is open to boys and girls of all skill levels. No prior experience is required!
6. Can I request to be on a team with a friend or sibling?
We do our best to honor requests, but we cannot guarantee placement due to team size and balance.
7. Can parents volunteer to help?
Absolutely! We welcome parent volunteers as coaches, assistants, team parents, or event helpers. You can indicate your interest during registration or click here Falcons United | Volunteer with Falcons United
8. What happens if it rains?
We will notify families up to one hour prior to the event on our Facebook if we are canceling due to weather. You can also check the county phone number to see what fields are closed at the following number 252-728-8484 or the county website Carteret County Parks and Recreation - Athletic Field Status
10. How long is the season?
Fall: will begin the first week of school and run through the first weekend in November
Spring: will begin the first Sunday in March and run through the first weekend in June
11. Will there be referees?
Yes, there will be referees for u10 and up divisions. Coaches will ref games for u4 / u6 / u8
12. Can my child play in this league and another club/travel team at the same time?
Yes, but please make sure it won’t cause scheduling conflicts.
