If your player wants to move up to competitive travel soccer, Classic is the Falcons United route. Tryouts are required before anyone is offered a spot on a Classic team, so here is how they work, in plain terms.

What Classic is
Classic is our NCYSA-sanctioned competitive travel program for players ready for a bigger challenge. Players train in a structured, high-development environment and compete against clubs from across the region. The season runs from August 1 to May, and tryouts are held every May.
Our current Classic teams are U11 Boys, U14 Boys, U14 Girls and U17 Boys.
When tryouts happen
Tryouts run over two weeks in 2027: week one from May 17 to 21 and week two from May 24 to 28. Specific times and locations are set by age group and announced on the Falcons Hub, so check there before you head out.
What it costs
Nothing. Like every Falcons United program, Classic is free to play, and that includes trying out and making a team. We are a nonprofit and no player sits out because of cost. The one exception across the club is tournament entry fees, which are separate.
